When Healing Gets Heavy, Remember to Play

In this episode of The Lightkeeper’s Path, I’m talking about something we often forget on the healing journey: play.

So many of us become focused on doing the work, reading, journaling, meditating, processing, and trying to heal in all the “right” ways, that we forget joy, curiosity, and lightness are healing too.

In this episode, I share why play is not frivolous, but a powerful way to help regulate the nervous system, reconnect with your inner child, and return to a sense of safety in the body. I also explore the science behind play, including how it supports the parasympathetic nervous system and invites more creativity, restoration, and life force energy back in.

This is your reminder that sometimes healing does not ask for more effort. Sometimes it simply asks you to come back to life.

Episode Highlights:

  • Why play is an essential part of healing
